About me
I've created this site to showcase some of my work in instructional design for my classes. You can find narrative descriptions of innovations under "Course design projects," and you can view samples of materials I've created under "Work samples."
I received my Ph.D. in Hispanic Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition and Teacher Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2009, and was Assistant Professor of Spanish at the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 2007-2014. I was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish at Nebraska Wesleyan University for the 2015-2016 academic year. I am currently a Spanish teacher at Fort Calhoun High School and an adjunct Spanish instructor at Metropolitan Community College.
You can learn more about my educational background, teaching experience, and publications and presentations by visiting my main site: www.anitasaalfeld.com, or checking out my CV.
