I originally created this site to showcase some of my work in instructional design for my classes, but it has since evolved to encompass a wider range of projects. 

You can find the OG projects in Course design projects, and you can see other more recent projects including Canvas design projects, Google Apps Script projects, an organizational modernization project, and a growing collection of Google Sites that I've created under Work Samples. I received my Ph.D. in Hispanic Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition and Teacher Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2009, and was Assistant Professor of Spanish at the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 2007-2014.  I was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish at Nebraska Wesleyan University for the 2015-2016 academic year.  I am currently a Spanish teacher at Fort Calhoun High School and an adjunct Spanish instructor at Metropolitan Community College.
